On March 29, 2024, Myanmar Underwater Federation (MUF) and Myanmar Dive Center (MDC) organized 5th Chaung Thar Beach Clean-up and Coral Conservation Awareness Campaign at Chaung Thar Beach.
The main mission of this campaign is to protect and raise awareness about the destruction of coral reefs. We, Concordia International Co., Ltd, proudly participated, with our staff actively involved in beach and underwater clean-up effort. After Beach Clean-up campaign, our CEO, Dr. Than Win, delivered a powerful speech at the Coral Conservation Seminar, emphasizing the importance of underwater reef conservation and environmental preservation.

We are proud to share that on February 17, 2024, the Myanmar Underwater Federation (MUF) and the Myanmar Dive Center (MDC) organized the 5th Ngwe Saung Beach Clean-up 2024 Environmental Conservation Collective Campaign on Ngwe Saung Beach near Lovers Island.
The objective of the campaign is to stimulate, protect, and raise awareness of the destruction of current coral reefs. Staff of Concordia International Co., Ltd. actively participated in the collective garbage disposal efforts on the beach and around Lovers Island. After Beach Clean-up campaign, Concordia’s CEO, Dr. Than Win, discussed the importance of underwater reef conservation and environmental preservation at the Coral Conservation Seminar.
On August 17, 2023, CEO Dr. Than Win Family, Concordia International Co., Ltd donated premium-quality rice (24 varieties), in total 403 bags of rice (valued at $465 million) to its 403 staff members in Yangon, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw, Taunggyi and Magway by considering the well-being of its staff. On behalf of all recipients, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to Dr. Than Win Family.

We are proud to share that on February 18, 2023, the Myanmar Underwater Federation (MUF) and the Myanmar Dive Center (MDC) organized the 4th Ng We Saung Clean-up 2023 Environmental Conservation Collective Campaign on Ngwe Saung Beach near Lovers Island.
The objective of the campaign is to stimulate, protect, and raise awareness of the destruction of current coral reefs. Staff of Concordia International Co., Ltd. actively participated in the collective garbage disposal efforts on the beach and around Lovers Island. Additionally, Concordia’s CEO, Dr. Than Win, discussed the importance of the conservation of underwater reefs and environmental preservation during the event.

In 2020, Myanmar Underwater Federation (MUF) organized the third Ngwe Saung Beach Clean-up. Since this was the 3rd event, it garnered more and more attention from the audience, with the total attendance of 200 enthusiastic participants. Public figure, Wai Lu Kyaw and Thinzar Wint Kyaw also attended and actively participated.

Public figure, Wai Lu Kyaw also attended and actively participated. The main mission of this campaign is to protect and raise awareness about the destruction of coral reefs and to maintain coastal ecosystem of the nature.

We strongly believe that beach clean-ups contribute to preserving the beauty of coastal areas and protecting marine life, while also raising awareness about environmental conservation and encouraging community involvement in keeping our beaches clean and safe.

In 2017, Myanmar Underwater Federation (MUF) organized the first Ngwe Saung Beach Clean-up. With a total attendance of 80 enthusiastic participants, volunteers gathered at Ngwe Saung beach to restore the coastal ecosystem. The main mission of this campaign is to protect and raise awareness about the destruction of coral reefs and to maintain coastal ecosystem of the nature.
Staff of Concordia International Co., Ltd. proudly participated and actively involved in beach and underwater clean-up efforts. The 1st Ngwe Saung Beach Clean-Up showed how local actions can help the environment. With community support and the involvement of Concordia, MUF and MDC led the way in protecting nature. This sets a good example for future projects aimed at keeping our environment safe.
